I don't really care about finding backstory or lore for games or ARG stuff, but I offer a few videos to help anyone who does care;

Swanky's advertised this game as having a deeper meaning than it seems. I'm just not the kind of guy to do the digging.

A few notes for anyone trying out things;

- You can't escape the maze once the third weed is cut down, even if you exit after each one is removed. The wall goes up and vines cover the exits (including the secret exit) immediately, even if the sky and field is clear.

- I have only ever completed the maze ONCE during any given session and never successfully beaten it two times in a row. I don't know if the ending changes if you beat it more than once in a sitting.

- I have scoured the outside of the maze as well as the outer secret area a lot and never found a key for the house. There's still the maze itself and the secret corn field behind the house that may have a key hidden somewhere. There may also not be a key. I have no clue.

- There doesn't seem to be any files that track the number of times you've played or beaten the game. The game keeps generic Unity files at %userprofile%\appdata\locallow\SwankyBox Media\Zardy's Maze and keeps track of game variables in the registry at Computer\HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\SwankyBox Media\Zardy's Maze. The "hasPlayed" entry is "0" until you start the game and is then changed to "1". Its purpose is to show a bright sunny title screen until you've started the game at least once, at which point it will then show the dark title screen.

I give it a 2/2.
